The Home Stretch

Winchester
Burford
Warner Bros. Harry Potter Studio Tour London
SO AMAZING... I could spend days here. I think Professor Umbridge's pink office and the Ministry of Magic were my favourite set pieces. The glass case of all the objects featuring graphic design used in the movies, like chocolate wrappers, newspapers, signs etc. was also pretty sick, as were the costumes, he animatronics, and pretty much everything?? Oh and the gift shop, expensive as anticipated, but I did pick up a chocolate frog or two. I took SO many pictures in this exhibition, so I only included a few of my absolute favourites.
Butterbeer ♥ It tasted like butterscotch cream soda. The "froth" was SUPER thick and tangy.

On our last day in London I finally met Joel! (The Hallowed Ground) So excited I got to meet him in person! Plus I was so thrilled I got to see Randa and Dodo again for a second time ♡ yay! I even got to meet Katie Eary (who Joel interns for) since Joel was meeting her for coffee that day. It was also really cool to see quieter parts of London further from the city centre that I've never really had the chance to see before.
I almost mastered Joel's signature pose (he's in the process of having it patented). Unfortunately my measly tongue just isn't long enough.
We went for Dim Sum later where Dodo met up with us (⌒▽⌒) everything was so good mmmmmm
And Joel let me try on his new oil slick Docs ( ノ ̄◡ ̄)ノ
Photo time~
When Randa hijacked my camera...
It was such an awesome time just hanging out in London for the day! Thank you to the gang for showing me around and taking me to cool places (and special thank you to Joel for coming all the way to my hotel to meet me and taking us to meet Katie sob) ah I miss all you guys so much T_T I hope we meet again really soon!

Leaving London - our airport hotel.
Hong Kong stopover hotel.
So this is my last travel post! I hope you guys have enjoyed them. Ah I really miss my trip a lot... But I have lots of good things coming up on here. As usual I will apologise for being a slacker with posting, I just finished my second week back at uni and I think I'm finally getting back into the swing of it. Btw I celebrated my birthday in February, I'll definitely have to show you guys some of the wonderful things I received. I hope you guys are all enjoying your uni/college/spring breaks etc. and are having a great year so far (can you believe it's already March?!). See you soon!

Matte & Glossy Drip Nail Tutorial

Over the past few months I recieved a bunch of requests to create a tutorial for my dripping nails, so I made this video for you guys. I actually created and uploaded it at the end of last year, but I completely forgot to share it. As in the description of the video, it's not my best work! But I hope showing my tools and technique helps you to achieve the same look if you wish (´▽`) As for those of you who've been asking me to make some other youtube videos, this idea really excites me and I'd love to give it a shot. Although I'm back at uni now, I'm still going to do my best to find some time to try a few things out for my channel, even if it takes a little while. And speaking of being back at uni - sorry my last few travel posts are taking so long! The last week back at school was a bit crazy, but I should have some things up (including an outfit post) really soon!

Sweden

We woke up to fresh snow on our first morning in Stockholm.First food experience after we arrived: Semla at a nearby cafe! They're a cream filled bun traditionally eaten during Easter time in Sweden. THEY ARE SO GOOD mmm it's my mission to track down a decent Swedish bakery in Sydney now after trying them.
Breakfast at our Stockholm hotel with my sister (actual best buffet breakfast ever).

Me in our hotel room. Super cold weather can make me dress so simple... cashmere sweater, CUE ruffle layer skort, two layers of cotton-rich leggings and my Canadian-made snow boots (which have the most amazing super soft faux-fur/sheepskin lining omg)

Swedish sweets ♡ Daim is my absolute favourite and has been my whole life tbh. I brought back about 18 2-pack Daim bars in my suitcase :-) and as of now they are all eaten or given away as part of gifts.

More Swedish food - hot dogs. The second one is my sister's, its a grilled hot dog and mashed potato wrapped in flat bread.

David Lachapelle Exhibition at Fotografiska Museet
A-ma-zing exhibition - and ENORMOUS too. So I only included my absolute favourite pictures below (old-school Britney Spears, Devon Aoki, young Leo Decaprio, Lil Kim, Kanye West etc.)

Some pictures I took at Skansen zoo (check out the sloth eating upside down!! oh man aren't sloths just the greatest)

After our weeklong stay in Stockholm we drove to Mariestad, which is where we stayed with our Swedish family. My grandmother was Swedish (Dad's side) making me 1/4 swedish.

In Mariestad I learned how to walk on water~ But seriously walking on a frozen lake was pretty neato and I recommend it to everybody if you ever get the opportunity.

Some phone snaps I took inside our relative's house where we had dinner one night.

Then it was back to England.

I really like Sweden a lot. It feels like a place of learning and relaxing and wandering. I also really miss the snow ; - ; Once again, this really is only a few highlights of Sweden. We were doing things every day and went to a ton of museums, restaurants, exhibitions, shopping etc. but I do my best to keep my posts succinct.

Apologies for how ridiculously long this post has taken to be put up. Been having major troubles with my image uploader, I had to spread out my image uploading alone for this and my next post over about 4 days. I'm back at uni on the 25th so I'm going to make sure to have my last travel posts are up before then orrrrrr at least within the next week and a half? Editing all my travel photos makes me miss being overseas so much. BUT there are lots of exciting things in my travel posts to come so please look forward to them!
