And time for the exciting part~ I got to hang out with the amazingly cool Randa, Emmie, Siqi, Emma and Dodo while I was in London (￣ヮ￣) they showed me around a ton of awesome places mostly in East London. I know some of these places overlap because they are within another (if that makes sense??), but I was able to tick off KTZ, Primitive, Shorditch, Soho, Brick Lane and Bolshie (separate post coming on that one), and other notable stores/areas we visited include Year Zero, Lazy Oaf, Shop 172, Box Park, Sick... etc.

That just about sums it up for the highlights of London (and emphasis on the "highlights" part, I culled a ton). Oh and in case you don't follow me on twitter, I am back home in Sydney now~ I really miss London a lot, I even miss the snow (it feels like a tropical sauna here srsly). I still have some photos from Sweden and round two of London to show you guys so please look forward to them! (You can also check out my insty for more photos I took along the way.)

Adriano Zumbo Dessert Train

I've been dying to visit Adriano Zumbo's Dessert Train at The Star Sydney ever since it opened, and now I've finally ticked it off my bucket list (─▽─) It really is exactly like a sushi train (a.k.a. conveyer belt sushi) except with small servings of Zumbo's unique and bizarre desserts instead of Japanese cuisine. Although funnily enough I spotted a couple of girls leaving the train after mistaking it for a place where they could find the latter. We attended during Happy Hour so all plates were $4! My favourite was the "Violet Crunchie" (pictured above with the chunk of honeycomb on top) and it's exactly as it sounds, a dessert flavoured exactly like Violet Crumble and Crunchie combined *drools*. After devouring enough sweet delicacies to form a sizeable stack of pink and chocolate coloured plates, we stopped by The Star's convenience store because it has an enormous variety of international chocolate and lollies. The goodies I picked up were the Cinnamon Toast Crunch, the Butterfinger and the mint chocolate chip Cookie Dough bites mmmmmmmm.

I hope that everyone had a great Easter break and received lots of chocolate, I myself enjoyed a ton including a sweet bilby or two. And above is my new suitcase for Japan! It seems crazy it's taken this long to finally get the four-wheel kind (well technically 8 wheels for my model). It's super light and so fun to push and spin around.

I spent all of yesterday afternoon at the Sydney Royal Easter show (see photos below) and my favourite part this year was definitely the Rock & Roll Milk Bar, which was like a popup diner. I've never seen it before so I'm assuming it's a new addition to the show, complete with Dukebox, tiled floor, neon lights and even actors dressed in 50s style getup wandering the space.

Recently we had my birthday dinner at a restaurant I've wanted to visit for a while called Cara & Co, which is located inside the concept store of the same name in Westfield Sydney CBD! It was flawless and the food and plating was amazing ; _____ ; The dishes I ordered were Caesar in disguise (not pictured; green gazpacho, glazed chicken oyster, parmesan crisp, mustard ice cream, lettuce hearts, anchovies), Nothing is lost (preparations of venison, cherries, cauliflower, black olive, dark chocolate) and Smurf's and violets (belgian chocolate, strawberry, violet). The descriptions I've given were exactly as on the menu and kept very minimal, then after our orders were served, our waiter (who looked so much like Matt Smith??) would explain each part of our dishes in detail. I think the most beautiful looking dishes for me were Fish united and Nutty lemon! They both look like something from under the sea~
