My three month university holidays have finally come to an end ( 　ﾟ, _ゝﾟ)However it's been wonderful to see all my classmates again and catch up with them this week! Also looking forward a to a few new classes and topics. So far it's been quite a bludge since a lot of classes have been cancelled for various reasons, so it's nice to gently ease back into my uni schedule. Oh and does my necklace look familiar? It was a gift from my parents for my birthday to go with my ring version which you can see here. I've also had fun sporting my Value Meal backpack around campus for the first time, I know I'll be using it heaps this year~

New Beauty Products

Yves Saint Laurent Touche Blush in 7 (Apricot) - A birthday gift and a product I've always wanted because of my obsession with orange coloured/orangey cosmetics. The packaging and container is beautiful and so satisfying to use. It has a gorgeous colour, not too bright or overpowering, with a hint of sparkle and when blended with my pink blush it creates a lovely peachy tint on my cheeks. The only tiny issue is that sometimes when applying it direct from the puff, it applies in a ring because the powder settles along the edge (?) So you must be careful how you angle the puff on your cheek. This is now by far one of my favourite beauty products, I just adore it.

MISSHA All-Around Safe Block SPF 50+ Waterproof Sun - My current favourite facial sunscreen, which I've been using for about a year and a half. I've tried the SPF 40+ version as well, which definitely has easier application because it's a lot less thick. However, if you're going to protect your face from sun damage, you may as well go the whole way! So my past two tubes (incl the above) have been the 50+. Despite the thickness, it's very quick to learn the best way to apply, and it works super well as a base for my makeup. They also changed the packaging slightly, now with a dainty silver cap instead of a matte purple one~~

It's been too long since my last outfit post (≧o≦) The passed couple of weeks suddenly became busy with styling assisting work, seeing friends, movies, and organising my trip to Japan in May (!!!) which I am insanely excited about~ I'm also now trying to save for Japan, which is already proving to be very difficult (see my new Bonitas above T__T), BUT I've decided I will only buy things I really need or lack in my wardrobe... we'll see how that works out.

I'm already a fan of Diesel's fragrances as I find them to be incredibly modern. Loverdose initially reminded me a lot of Thierry Mugler's Alien, another fragrance I've wanted for a while now, but for me, Loverdose is a little more likeable and wearable. It even reminds me of Viktor & Rolf's Flowerbomb, my previous fragrance (well, nearing the end of the bottle) except less intense. and the bottle... as soon as I saw it I was attached because it looks like the jewel heart from Mumfie *:･ﾟ✧

Yesterday (the 11th) we had my birthday dinner at a restaurant I've wanted to visit for a while called Cara & Co, which is located inside the concept store of the same name in Westfield Sydney CBD! It was flawless and the food and plating was amazing ; _____ ; The dishes I ordered were Caesar in disguise (not pictured; green gazpacho, glazed chicken oyster, parmesan crisp, mustard ice cream, lettuce hearts, anchovies), Nothing is lost (preparations of venison, cherries, cauliflower, black olive, dark chocolate) and Smurf's and violets (belgian chocolate, strawberry, violet). The descriptions I've given were exactly as on the menu and kept very minimal, then after our orders were served, our waiter (who looked so much like Matt Smith omg) would explain each part of our dishes in detail. I think the most beautiful looking dishes for me were Fish united and Nutty lemon! They both look like something from under the sea~

It took me long enough, but I finally got around to it; studding my AA backpack. It's been pouring non-stop for the passed few days here in Sydney, so it was a perfect rainy day activity (︶ヮ︶) These push in pyramid studs were super easy to use, but the screw-in spike studs were a little more intimidating, and I'm not sure where to place them (any ideas?) or whether to use them on this backpack at all. Hmmmm!

When I tilt my fingers the colour changes from pinky-purple to blue-green and it looks amazing in bright sunlight.

These posters are pull-outs from Helmet magazine that my lovely friend Vanessa gave me a while ago : ) The walls of my previous bedroom were a colourful collage of images (which you might be able to remember if you've been following me for a loooong time) but I think from now on I'm going to try out a more minimalist style.

When's a better time to dress in all-black than in summer? (¬‿¬) But I must say I've grown a liking to this outfit and variations of it. I haven't worn my black thigh highs out and about for a few months so it's nice to have rediscovered my love for them.

In other news, today was a bit of a food day, I had onigiri for lunch then after seeing the new Sherlock Holmes movie, my sister and I explored the nearby asian supermarket and found lots of wonderful goodies. I very much recommend you to try these peach flavoured chewy lollies, my best friend put me onto them and they are truly amazing, I've already eaten half the packet while working on this post!

Moleskine Planner

F i n a l l y. I have my brand new 2012 Moleskine planner in my hands. I spent forever (literally) running around visiting pretty much every Moleskine stockist in the city CBD and was completely unsuccessful... but I shouldn't have been surprised they were sold out mid January! But I ordered this last Friday afternoon and it arrived the following Monday morning *O* hooray! One of my resolutions is that I will USE my planner every day this year, rather than have months empty like in last year's >_<
What sorts of things do you use to plan your weeks?

Caring for Creepers

I've been getting a ton of questions on my tumblr about creepers lately, including wearing them in, caring for them, sizing etc. and as there's not that much info out there on the topic, I thought I'd make this little personal guide. I'm no expert, but I hope this provides some help! : )

Wearing in Creepers *:･ﾟ✧
Here are my first pair of black suede Demonia creepers. After 6 months wear, they now feel like sneakers and are pretty damn worn in. When these were new, they were super stiff, felt awkward to walk in, and I had bruising on my feet where the top of the tongue is, near where the bow on the laces is tied. The heels also rubbed slightly and I had a bit of blistering on my pinky toes. This took almost a week to be completely gone and for the awkward feeling to disappear. Once everything's softened, including the sole (which makes it a bit bendier so you can walk more normally), they're completely comfy.

As for my white leather Demonia creepers, they were SO. FREAKING. PAINFUL. I had blistering and the bruising on the top of my foot was so bad that I winced every time I took a step. However, I suffered through the pain and wore them to uni/out and about for roughly a 4-5 days, then the pain vanished.

Tips for Breaking Them In

Wear bandaids or medical fabric tape on all pressure points BEFORE beginning to break them in to prevent possible blistering or chafing
Wear the thickest socks that you can
The top of the tongue area is the hardest to protect, but layers of bandaids or any kind of padding will make it slightly less painful
Suffer through the pain, it only lasts for a few days and no longer than a week!

This is where my suedes have worn in the most, right on the inner heel. If I don't wear socks with a fair thickness to them, the peeling fabric is quite uncomfortable. This will likely be the reason for when I must ceremoniously burn this pair and adopt a new one.

More wearing in on the lace area that's pretty much unavoidable, but completely unnoticeable when they're laced up.

The inevitable wearing on the piping along the top; for some reason it's SO delicate. It's pretty much the best way to determine how old somebody's creepers are. I'm looking into finding some kind of glue or gloss that can can stop it being damaged so easily in the first place. Has anyone ever tried it?

Creeper Care*:･ﾟ✧

A few items I've used to my personal creeper protection and maintenance:

Water & Stain protector spray for suede shoes (picked this up from a key cutter/shoe repair store)
Gentle alcohol-free facial cleansing wipes
Black Sharpie

I recommend applying suede protector to your creepers so you'll feel a bit safer wearing them on rainy days. For my pair, I used about two coats, waiting for the first coat to dry before spraying the next, and after testing it under a dripping tap I found the water rolled right off.

I find some of the most obvious wear on my white leather creepers is around the ankle-heel area, especially these grey scratches.

Using the facial cloth, this wear can easily be removed at the end of the day that you wear them~ voila! For the really tough scratches, use your fingernail under the layered cloth.

The Sharpie or any black permanent marker can be used to fix the wear on the piping. I personally don't use this technique much anymore, because it's not the most effective way of covering the scratches as you can see, but it's a good quick fix and not visible unless you look closely.

Sizing/Fit Tips *:･ﾟ✧

Always use the brand's provided foot measurement size chart if they have one. Buy to fit the absolute closest match to your foot in terms of centimetres.
TRY BEFORE YOU BUY - I almost bought a size too big, as I suspected buying one size up would be better for my foot length (this is not the case, see the above tip). Try and find stockists for your brand of creepers near where you live, or if it's not possible, do as much research as you can before you order online.
The fit of creepers is peculiar, they feel different to any other kind of shoe because the sole is so stiff it doesn't bend with your foot. After one week of wear this feeling will be gone and your creepers should feel like regular shoes.

That about concludes my post on creeper care! If you have any questions I'll be happy to answer them, and more ideas for protecting creepers would be great too.

Japanese Sweets

Some goodies I've picked up and been eating over the passed week!
The little burgers are like buttery biscuits with chocolate filling. I was totally expecting them to taste like meat because I've seen a lot of japanese meat flavoured lollies before. The ice creams are also something I've never tried before; the one on the left is green tea flavoured and has a thick layer of green tea chocolate sealing the top of the cone. The one on the right is like a caramel waffle ice cream, mmmm.

Looking forward to a small NYE party at my house tonight as we have harbour views, then around midday of January 1st 2012 I'll be jetting off to Kangaroo Island in South Australia to meet up with the rest of my family, so I can't imagine I'll be getting too much sleep ╮(─▽─)╭ What are you up to this new years? Do you have any new years resolutions?

I noticed a photo of this backpack floating around tumblr and saw it was from etsy - but sold out : - ( Finding decent backpacks with a size, function and overall design that I actually like is insanely difficult for me, so when I saw this I knew I had to track it down. I messaged the seller and a week or so later they notified me that another one was available! ヽ( ゜▽ ゜)ﾉ My grandparents were kind enough to order this for me as my christmas gift and I absolutely adore it and loooooved wearing it out today. It's so cute and it functions even better than my AA backpack. I feel like I should pose around with it at a McDonalds or In-N-Out Burger ～

My new pride and joy, my new baby, my new Sretsis skirt *angels singing*
I have an obsession with the "Up in the Clouds" AW11 collection, it's possibly my most favourite collection of theirs yet. Can I just say... the prints. THE PRINTS. Unicorns, rainbows, lambs, clouds, doves, deer *:･ﾟ✧ Absolutely gorgeous. The only downside is that I'm slightly broke?? I spent over 20 hours of work pay on this, but it is completely and entirely worth it. Not to mention everything about the make is beautiful, and it has a dainty pink spotted lining I was showing off above. Even the label and the tags are beautiful!

I'm ~officially~ on holidays now as I am 100% free from uni work. My holiday to-do list includes drawing, christmas shopping, getting a haircut, seeing friends, catching up on movies and TV, working at my job(s), lots of DIY projects, and of course SLEEP!

My black creepers have a new friend to play with! Say hi to my new Demonia white creeps, they actually arrived a couple of weeks ago but I've only just gotten around to photographing them. Now can I just say leather creepers are ROCK HARD! These took a few days of bruised feet and perseverance with a lot of pain in order to break in. But now they're lovely and comfy! They look best with coloured socks, which are near the top of my christmas wish list. What do you want for christmas this year?

My final Halloween 2011 post~ These are my home decorations for Monday night. I think we get more gruesome every year. In fact one parent of a very little trick-or-treater said it was too gory for their child to be looking at. Mission accomplished!

My costume for Sunday night festivities~ To be honest, I wasn't even 100% sure what I was going to be when I was planning this costume, I just knew I wanted it to look like this ^^^
What do you think I look like?
I made the floral crown myself! It was so fun and easy, I'll have to make more of them some time in different colours. I picked up the dress from Zoo Emporium for only $10! It was in a massive pile of other clothes and I dug it out from the bottom along with a wedding dress I tried on that was so heavy it took at least 15 minutes just to get over my head. And my black rose ♡ the costume is not complete without it.

HOORAY FOR HALLOWEEN! One my most favourite seasons ever~ I was so excited for my costumes this year more than any year before. I actually bought the sailor uniform for an event 2 years ago and now I'm finally getting a bit more wear out of it before I sell it. I made the wounds myself using scar wax, fake drying blood and eyeshadow. Even ran into a few people who thought we were seriously injured and asked us if we needed help!

I picked this dress up for super cheap at some local markets. It's probably too 'new' to call it vintage, so I guess second hand? It's both mint in colour and in condition, and a perfect fit! I was really lucky. I also like how the collar mimics a black choker. And look it MATCHES MY DOCS in fact I was wearing them when I bought it so I pointed this out to the stall owner.

I have no idea why I didn't mention the P.A.M. sale I went to a couple of weeks ago (!?!?) I went practically insane when I heard about it because they are one of my favourite Australian labels of all time. Although they didn't have all the stock I'd hoped for, I did manage to get my hands on this t-shirt above (along with a couple of others) which features my favourite 'splatter' print from the SS 2011 collection. Wohoo~ Now the dress - I actually saw this sheer striped dress on Olive Shoppe a couple of months ago, went back to purchase it later and found it was sold out : - ( and then I come accross this one almost identical to it in the city ✧(ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟSeriously the dress seems to mesmerise everyone I walk past, including my cat who pawed it this morning.

Every day is 90s day ever since my Mathilda choker replica arrived, I've been wearing it every day! The t-shirt is a super old B.O.N.D.S. t-shirt I found for $6 at Vinnie's, and it's actually dark navy blue but came up as black in the photos (???). I picked it out for an upcoming uni photo shoot in a few weeks, but for some reason I've become a bit attached to it even though I never intended to wear it myself.

Speaking of shoots - anyone know where I can find ring pops in Sydney? I'm desperately trying to get my hands on one for a 90s grunge themed shoot I have this Wednesday... and also because I haven't had one in years!!

What do you think of my new Docs? It was actually hard choosing between the pastel pink, purple and mint green, but the mint is the most unique looking in relation to the rest of my wardrobe ∩(︶▽︶)∩ and I love the combination of black + pastel green.

Parklife (Sydney) was on Sunday and despite the rain (-____-') it was sick! ;) particularly as I brought a proper raincoat and gumboots so I stayed super warm and dry. It was amusing watching masses of girls in too-short denim cutoffs and tank tops running around in the icy wind. My favourite acts were MSTRKRFT, Digitalism, Lykke Li and Santigold. When Lykke Li was performing Little Bit, she started cracking up in the middle of it and missed a lot of the lyrics, then after finishing she apologised saying something along the lines of "I'm sorry for laughing, I know it ruins my image, but when it's raining like this, everything feels like a musical."

Variety Op Shop Ball

On Saturday 24th September I attended the Variety Op Shop Ball in place of Hayley who's been away in Perth. So the dress code is basically anything fun/interesting/glamourous you can find in any op shop~ pretty awesome, and all to help raise money for Variety. My friend Vanessa from The Monday Issue was kind enough to come with me and we were pretty much the sickest kids on the dance floor.

For my 'Op Shop' outfit: I wore this amazing pink-purple shimmery blouse that I picked up for $18 from Vinnie's. (It's actually a black leotard, the top half his a blouse). The skirt (with attached shorts underneath) is $7 from Vinnie's, borrowed from my lovely friend Ellen, the belt is my mum's and the silver glomesh purse is recycled from my wardrobe, something I've had for years.

Accessories: American Apparel punctuation tights, black flat platforms from Nu Naan, Kreepsville 666 skeleton hand hair clip.

The weather in Sydney is being such a tease right now; warm and sunny for a couple of days, freezing and raining for a few days, then back to warm and sunny again. Saturday was busy as I was working on fittings for Wednesday's first uni assignment photoshoot, so I spent Sunday morning watching the new SBS Pop Asia channel on digital and the rest of the day in the city. I picked up a new jumper from Alphaville! I'll be posting about it later on. It reminded me of Givenchy FW 11/12 menswear, so I was like akjhfjdfgkhkfjd and it was reduced too so I basically had no choice but to get it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Last Wednesday I attended the Diesel SS 11/12 launch party ("Diesel Island" ~ "the least fucked up country in the World") with Hayley and Leah, the editor of Fashion Journal! It was pretty sick~!! I wore an old Yeojin Bae dress, skeleton tights, lace socks, creepers and a single eyeball bow ^_~ because it seems I can't leave the house these days without at least one in my hair.

Happy Father's Day! We spent all of today on a hiking trip at Garie Beach, since my dad really likes camping and getting outdoorsy. I rarely go on hiking trips or anything similar but it was really fun and relaxing, and also the weather was perfect. I think hiking is a lot more enjoyable when you're up super high or near the ocean.

I'm in love with the Long x Boy London t-shirts right now. It was a hard choosing which design to get and I did consider just buying one of each ^__~ but this print has been my #1 favourite ever since I first saw it :') It's one size, oversized fit, even long enough for someone as tall as me to wear as a dress ( ﾟヮﾟ)b The stockings are a super cheap eBay purchase, I think they were around $8 including shipping? I had two problems with these stockings. #1 So I already felt these were risky though because they are Womens "One Size Fits Most" which I can't trust, because I'm an unusual height for a female, and sure enough when I tried them on, the crotch was just above my knees ._____. so I was all ready to give them to a short person or throw them out when I decided, heyy I can turn these into footless stockings and maybe they will fit my leg length, and it worked \o/ I just cut two slits in the toes. Problem #2, the bone print won't stay centred on your leg no matter what. Yesterday we did street style photography for class (I'll have to post those pictures later!) so all the walking basically caused the print to spin around until it was in completely the wrong position, like on the sides of my legs @__@ I re adjusted it and then 30 seconds later they had spun around again. So that goes as a warning to anyone planning to by Smiffys stockings. Otherwise, they do look really great and photograph well sigh.

Last night I went to the Diesel Island party with Hayley and Leah, the editor of Fashion Journal! It was pretty sick, the whole place was decked out as if we were on an island filled with jeans and models. I might post some photos later!

American Apparel Backpack

Super excited about this backpack. I've needed a nice one for a while now for carrying all my things for uni like my laptop, and also for Parklife in October/other concerts this year. When I first laid eyes on this backpack hanging on the wall of the AA basement level, it just screamed to be customized. I want to dye it and put my new studs all over it... but I feel really hesitant because I'm a perfectionist and I want to get the design right. It's also my first time using screw studs.

If anyone has any tips for using studs or even ideas on how I could customize this backpack, I'd really love to here them ´▽`

Bunny Hologram Nails

Aren't they cute? Thanks to my friend Ellen who is a nail genius. The base coat is blue Hologram polish from The Make Up Store, as you can see in the GIF above I tried to capture it's trippiness in direct sunlight and also under flash. I've never seen Hologram polish in person until yesterday. And I've wanted to try bunnies on my nails ever since seeing this.

It's been quite a while since my last post. I always want to take nice photos in my room, but when I get home from uni around 4:30-5:30pm, all the good lighting is gone because it's still winter... and because I'm so fussy, I always put it off /sigh. Also been quite busy working on two uni projects at once, both styling for photoshoots. My first shoot is going to be slightly Wednesday Addams inspired! I'm really excited about it. Anyway - I have a few cool posts planned that will be coming up shortly ^_~

My Kreepsville 666 eyeball bow haiclips arrived a few days ago and I've been wearing them non-stop. I find the clip rather than the hair elastic is more versatile as you can easily attach it to plaits/ponytais etc. and also clip it flat to your head. I'm already planning to get all the colours so I can mix-and-match, and also have two on either plait and two clipped onto the back of my head to freak people out ⊙‿‿⊙

American Apparel Nail Polish

This post title is dedicated to AA nail polish and how amazing it is. I don't know what's in their magical formula (I think it's unicorn tears or something) but I've never had polish that applies so smoothly, requires such few coats, and lasts well. I sound like an ad but seriously, if you're into nails, you need it in your life. However the only thing about it that sucks is that they don't have enough colours T___T I picked up the 'Peacock' shade along with some new socks (!!) from AA during my break at uni today, the Sally Hanson strips and OPI Black Shatter are a gift from my sister (I'm really excited to try them both out for the first time), and the September issue of Vogue Australia. Oh and thanks to my mum for the french Taratata Bijoux oversized camera ring : )

I'm back at uni now \o/ the six week break has ended. Also, thanks to my amazing and talented friend slash creative partner Vanessa, I've become assistant stylist to Hayley from Fashion Hayley and having a lot of fun! So far we've worked on a cover shoot for Fashion Journal and I've already learned so much, and this Saturday I'll be assisting with the shoot of local Sydney band Circle Pit. The concept has a bit of Rockabilly influence :'D yay creepers~!!

Now I'm into the swing of things again, more posts coming up very soon.

～( ´ ▽ ` )～ I'm so happy! I've been waiting for these Demonia 402S suede creepers for an insanely long time, for some reason the postage was delayed, but now I have them sjdfhkjdshfdskjfh life is good. Prepare for a photo spam.

They fit perfectly, but they do feel strange to walk in. I've read the feel of them takes a bit of getting used to, but that shouldn't be a problem because I'm going to do my best to wear them everywhere :)

I tried nail marbling for the first time! It's so much fun : ) I can't wait to give it a go with other colours and maybe even more than just three.

Tips for anyone trying this themselves:

Make sure you tape at least halfway down your finger, if not further, otherwise you will have marbled fingers
Toothpick your patterns in super fast! The quicker, the more you can play around with the shapes in the floating nail polish
Wait at least 12 hours before applying the top coat! Otherwise you'll get bleeding and the lovely neat marble effect will be ruined

Look I'm wearing my DIY collar a.k.a. collar I chopped off an old blouse! : ) I use safety pins to keep it in place. Also I finally got the Canon DSLR remote, it's so handy! I thought it only released the shutter, but it autofocuses before shooting too. Something I've noticed is that I must look directly into the lens or completely away from it, because if I look at the flip screen just to the right of the lens, I look dead (as above).

Finally got a very belated birthday gift - my new baby and 2nd horcrux, a Canon 600D ヽ(´▽`)/

My package includes the 600D body, Canon 50mm f/1.8 lens, the new Tamron 18-270mm lens, filters for each lens, camera bag and a new pack of Polaroid film for my Instax which doesn't really have anything to do with it.

The flippy screen sits at all angles and is insanely useful for taking photos of yourself, especially for focusing.

In other news, I attended an Australia's Next Top Model runway show today through my university's connections. One thing I'll say about the experience is that dressing well really does pay off! My 3 friends and I were grabbed from the massive audience queue along with a few others to be in the priority seating right in front of the runway (and right in front of the cameras). We noticed they only chose people who were presented nicely. As there was limited seating, the rest of the queue unfortunately had to stand towards the back of the seating area, very far from the runway :-( hmm something to keep in mind. Sarah Murdoch did her chatter/introduce judges then we watched the top 30 girls walk in Alex Perry gowns. The stand out for me was probably Issy because she had amazing hair like Jeremy Scott FW11 - mostly hot pink with some bits of green and I think blue also?

Don't know about you but I keep spotting these platforms everywhere lately. I searched for ages then of course, as usual, I stumbled across them while I wasn't looking on Shift. They're from Tokyo Bopper, which you can check out right here.

I had my heart set on this all-black pair, but by what I can tell from the site, the biggest size available online is 24cm sole, and I'm 25cm+ :'(

The white sneaker platforms below are from the mens range and I think they are my 2nd favourite.

All I can say is, hooray for the 90s revival!

I know it's nothing new that I like Jeremy Scott and of course the FW '11 collection is wonderful etc but what caught my attention most was the hair and makeup! Above is my feeble attempt at replicating the fluoro brights on the eyes, but I didn't have the right eyelashes to complete the look. Still on the hunt for them. My next project is the pigtails. I don't think I'd have the guts to wear them in any non-party environment, but I'm still working on finding some wigs I can cut up. And of course there's the actual construction, so... if anyone is a DIY master and has any tips I'd be eternally in your debt if you share them below (⌒▽⌒)ノ. Oh and on a slightly random note, Andrej Pejic (3rd photo down on the far left) is my new favourite model.

You may or may not know that I have a thing for Korean pop music a.k.a K-Pop, particularly this group SHINee. On Wednesday morning 12th January, I woke at 5:50am to greet them at Sydney international airport. If you can guess which member is my favourite/obsession, I'll be very impressed haha~ here is the video I took:

I also was lucky enough to attend the Super K-pop Concert Sydney/Korea Australia Friendship Concert where they were performing (along with a few other korean and australian artists) thanks to the help of my genius friend for writing a winning entry (I know you're reading this Ellen hohoho) and that was one of the most amazing experiences of my life ☆____☆ It was fairly exclusive, only 2000 attending. Tickets were invitational, could be won through a draw or contest, and the rest were sold at the door for $50 which went to UNICEF. My friend Vanessa was there too, so be sure to check out her article over at The Monday Issue!

I haven't posted in a while (again T_T) from travelling. I hope everyone had a wonderful christmas and new year :) this has been my second New Years in a row that I've been overseas and missed the Sydney fireworks, which I'm beginning to miss.

Singapore is the most humid place I've ever been (so please ignore my ruined hair), but it has the most awesome food places, which was probably the best part! I didn't go as shopping-cray-cray as expected either, which is a first for me. But I did discover an interesting and affordable singaporean brand called Depression that has gorgeous shorts and jewellery.

Oh yes and I finally got to experience a fish foot spa! It's amazing, like hundreds of tiny electric shocks. There are three pools, each ranging from large to small fish. When I first immersed my feet in the water, I was giggling like an idiot because it's both slightly painful and insanely ticklish. The final tank has the biggest fish, which is pretty hardcore I must say so you need to work your way up to it. I have photos, but I don't want to scare you with images of feet. My feet definitely felt softer afterwards! If you haven't tried it, you must give it a go, it's a lot of fun~

I finally visited Opening Ceremony in LA! It was one of the most exciting things I did this whole trip. The store is literally like a house. Every room/section of the building is filled with a different type of clothing or designer, for example there was one room filled with outerwear and another filled with only Acne and then another filled with super thick sweaters and cardigans. One designer in particular I was looking forward to seeing was KTZ, one of my favourite new Japanese labels. I got to touch these boots which I've only ever seen online:

There's also a section for the Opening Ceremony TRON collection (which was incredible to see 'in the flesh') and then when you think that you've seen everything there's an upstairs section... /sigh it was so amazing. There were two things I had on my list to find. I found both, but only chose one because I'm trying to save money plus I liked the one that I bought a lot more :) I'll save it for a future post!

Things that have happened since I last posted:

Did the HSC
Finished the HSC
Was so excited because the HSC was over and now no more high school forever!!
Went overseas

And that brings you up to date! On the 21st Nov we left for LA where we stayed for 4 days, and now we are about to have our 2nd night here in Las Vegas. It's our second time here and even though I'm not even close to 21 so I can't gamble or go clubbing, I still find it a really fun place with amazing sites and great shopping. Oh, and another giant part of the reason why I haven't updated lately is because my Macbook-Not-Pro is completely broken and is being repaired back in Sydney with a new hard drive. Haven't lost anything, but have been without my files and basically my horcrux for weeks (right now I'm using my old white macbook).

I have a huge amount of other photos and news and other things I'll be posting soon! Hope everyone has been well, and happy thanksgiving weekend~

p.s. do you like my time lapse packing gif? There's an odd item I 'hidden' in one of the frames, see if you can spot it.

Did I completely miss this boat? I nearly had a heart attack when I saw these in Nylon. These boots are for Doc Marten's 50th anniversary and were released on September 1 2010.

BRB, buying every single pair of these that aren't sold out.

I was so excited to get this. In fact I'm too scared to take it out of it's packaging and even wear it. Anyway, what do you think? Some Jeremy Scott items can seem a little over the top for some people (not me personally) but this particular piece was both quirky and everyday-wearable. Can't wait to take it out for a spin.

No More High School

Goodbye high school~ Only the HSC exams left and then it's onto college/university! The above photos are from Wednesday, my final full school day, otherwise known as Muck Up Day, and the last two are from our graduation morning on Thursday.

Do you like my Japanese pyjama skeleton suit? I borrowed it from my sister who bought it on eBay almost three years ago. It's so comfy and easy to move in so it was perfect for Wednesday. And did you notice my red contact lenses? It was a lot of fun scaring everyone with them. One of my friends flinched every time I looked at her.

I'm really looking forward to university/college as I'm keen to finally start studying what I'm passionate about full time. I'm leaning towards a fashion course (styling, fashion editing or something along those lines) but I also really want to improve my skills in digital photography and editing. Hmm what to choose.
