What do you think of my new jumper? It really does remind me a lot of the Givenchy FW 11 prints. I found it in the mens section (the Alpha 60 men's designs are way better in my opinion) and half price too ヽ(´ー｀)ﾉ Been crazy busy with uni the passed two weeks, photo shoots, planning upcoming shoots, sourcing, presentations, essay writing etc. but now I'm on a two week mid-semester break! And I'm working 26 hours next week... But last night I attended the Variety Op Shop Ball at Sydney Tower (just wait until you see my outfit for it, you can find a preview on my tumblr) a big post for that coming soon.
Wearing: Bless 'Holiday Garden' t-shirt, Ksubi cutoff shorts, AA punctuation tights, Demonia suede creepers, sister's hat, DIY velvet choker, SEE glasses.
The weather in Sydney is being such a tease right now; warm and sunny for a couple of days, freezing and raining for a few days, then back to warm and sunny again. Saturday was busy as I was working on fittings for Wednesday's first uni assignment photoshoot, so I spent Sunday morning watching the new SBS Pop Asia channel on digital and the rest of the day in the city. I picked up a new jumper from Alphaville! I'll be posting about it later on. It reminded me of Givenchy FW 11/12 menswear, so I was like akjhfjdfgkhkfjd and it was reduced too so I basically had no choice but to get it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
p.s. and oh my god I finally updated my Lookbook after 10 million years
Tattoo chokers! I still have a rainbow tattoo bracelet, but planning to get a whole bunch of the kind above. Along with the 80s, the 90s has got to be my favourite fashion era. What's yours?
First photo by Hayley, all additional photos & editing by me.
Fashion Journal September 2011 issue is out today! I was assistant to Hayley for styling the cover shoot and editorial (see the behind-the-scenes post here) as well as the shoot with Sydney band Circle Pit. It looks amazing! Can't wait to crab my copy!
Long x Boy London t-shirt, Smiffy's stockings, Demonia creepers.
Last night I went to the Diesel Island party with Hayley and Leah, the editor of Fashion Journal! It was pretty sick, the whole place was decked out as if we were on an island filled with jeans and models. I might post some photos later!
