School Photos & LOST

I can't believe I just had my last ever school photos! Feeling very nostalgic lately.

The theme for our muck-up photo was construction men. Do you like my fluoro orange vest and matching hardhat?

FINISHED... FOREVER. (I know it's a bit late to be mentioning it considering the finale was last week but anyhow...)

I've been watching Lost since it began airing, when I was about twelve years old. Almost six years... *sigh*

For the past few days, I've been reading extensive blog posts on the finale and trying to come up with a solid explanation for the ending while making myself depressed by listening to songs from the season one soundtrack on repeat. Now I need to to find a new show that won't 'replace' Lost, but fill the void that it's left in my life after it's conclusion.

Any recommendations?

MISSHA

Apologies for the break in posting, I've had a lot of school exams and assessments lately ( three this week >_< ) so I've been spending the majority of my time studying or essay writing.

I picked up a sunblock and violet nail polish from Korean cosmetic brand MISSHA. Have you heard of them? I'd never really known about them until I visited one of their stores in the city.

Being very fair, I have to be cautious when in the sun and wear an SPF moisturiser every day. It's rare to come across any creams over SPF 30 in Australia unless they are imported like these MISSHA products, so I was thrilled to find one that was SPF 45! (They even had an SPF 50, but I decided to start off a little lower).

Do any of you use sunblock every day?

EDIT: By the way, the prices are quite reasonable. The polish was $3.95 for the mini bottle and the sunblock was around $19, which is great value considering it's a very high SPF.

Oh and the little gold keychain was a freebie for the stores recent opening!

My sister purchased a small haul from MISSHA and received the key chain and a MISSHA cookie mug too. Sometimes I find there's nothing more awesome than a free gift :)

These are a few photos from my friend's birthday. She has one of those incredible houses that are filled with art and other objects you could spend hours looking at.

In other news, I've been researching & reading reviews about DSLR's for about 3 months now. I had my heart set on the Nikon D90, but as I'm more familiar with Canons (have borrowed the 400D and 1000D from my school library) I'm now leaning towards the Canon EOS 7D. And then I discovered the Nikon D300s, which has mad the situation more complicated! Who thought buying a camera would be so stressful?

Any tips on purchasing DSLR? Recommendations? (By the way, it needs to take video too! ^^)

YELLOW

I've been on the hunt for the perfect yellow nail polish. This one is very primary, but now I'm trying to find a creamier, paler yellow. Please let me know if you have any good recommendations!

I rarely do my nails on the weekends because my school restricts nail polish (and I'd only be wearing the polish for two days before I had to remove it).
